Forget Gutenberg is sometimes about adventures in the world of books. Sometimes it’s about fiber arts. Sometimes it’s about other things. Watch closely. It might do a trick.
Most of my skillsets are in obsolete technology: I can print on a handpress, make a book, edit reel-to-reel and 8mm film, and spin on a drop spindle. Fortunately, sewing machines and knitting needles aren’t quite obsolete. I used to know seventeenth century dance and the gentlemanly sort of sixteenth century fencing, but those skills require a great deal of practice. It was a joke when I said I was majoring in the seventeenth century, but now that I think about it, I more or less did. Fortunately, I like working for bookstores.
There are galleries of my work in books and fiber at the forget gutenberg main site.
