I took the least appealing sheet of suminagashi paper I could find in the stack, and gathered together the proof sheets, and made a mockup.
The title page was a mess. I don’t know exactly why, but it took a lot more work than any of the text to get right. (I’m pretty happy with the finished version.)
And these leaves are an extra that’s not in the edition printed on handmade paper. (Trust me. They were overkill on that paper.)
I need to make folding jigs – none of the edges of this book are square. I think I know what to do next, though.
